Given,

  • 150 ÷ (6 + 3 x 8) - 5 is given.

To find,

  • We have to simplify the given expression.

Solution,

The given expression 150 ÷ (6 + 3 x 8) - 5 can be simplified as (c) 0.

We can simply solve the given expression by using the BODMAS rule.

The BODMAS rule states that a bracket must be solved first then division, multiplication, addition, and in the last subtraction is solved.

                             =   150 ÷ (6 + 3 x 8) - 5

Solving bracket first in the given expression, we get

                             =    150 ÷ (6 + 3 x 8) - 5

                             =     150 ÷ (6 + 24) -5

                             =    150 ÷ (30) -5

Now in the second step, solving division , we get

                             =  5 -5

In the last step, solving subtraction, we get

                             = 0

The expression 150 ÷ (6 + 3 x 8) - 5 can be simplified as 0.

Hence, the given expression 150 ÷ (6 + 3 x 8) - 5 can be simplified as (c) 0.
