 \frac{ \sqrt{2} + 1 }{ \sqrt{2} - 1 } + \frac{ \sqrt{2} - 1}{ \sqrt{2} + 1} \\ = \frac{( { \sqrt{2} + 1})^{2} + ( { \sqrt{2} - 1 })^{2} }{( { \sqrt{2} })^{2} - {1}^{2} } \\ = \frac{2(( { \sqrt{2} })^{2} + {1}^{2}) }{2 - 1} \\ = 2(2 +1 ) \\ = 6
