(2 \sqrt{3}  +  \sqrt{5} )(2 \sqrt{3} -  \sqrt{5}  )

 = 2 \sqrt{3} (2 \sqrt{3}  -  \sqrt{5} ) +  \sqrt{5} (2 \sqrt{3}  -  \sqrt{5} )

 =  {(2 \sqrt{3} )}^{2}  - 2 \sqrt{15}  + 2 \sqrt{15}  -  { \sqrt{5} }^{2}

 = 12 - 5

 = 7
