 {2}^{ - 5}  \div  {2}^{ - 2}  \\  \\  =   \frac{1}{ {2}^{5} }  \div  \frac{1}{ {2}^{2} }  \\  \\  \frac{1}{ {2}^{5} }  \times  \frac{ {2}^{2} }{1}  \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{ {2}^{3} }   =  {2}^{ - 3}
