We have been asked to simplify \tt{ 21 - 27 \div 3 + 12 \times (-1)} . For solving this ; we will follow the BODMAS rule which says :

B - Bodmas

O - Of

D - Division

M - Multiplication

A - Addition

S - Subtraction

All of the above must be done in the same sequence in order to get the correct answer.

Following the information above ; we will solve the given problem :

\longrightarrow{\tt{ 21 - 27 \div 3 + 12 \times (-1)}}

Following the BODMAS rule ; there is neither a bracket term nor an of term. So we will directly skip to Divison :

\longrightarrow{\tt{ 21 - 9 + 12 \times (-1)}}

After Division the process of Multiplication is followed :

\longrightarrow{\tt{ 21 - 9 - 12}}

Now there would be Subtraction as there is no addition term :

\longrightarrow{\tt{ 12 - 12}}

\large{\boxed{\implies{\tt{ 0}}}}
