Answer:

firstly you should do 2x +6 = o after it 2x will remain on it's position but 6 will shift to opposite side and after 6 will be -6 so 2x =-6 after x will remain it's position but 2 will shift to opposite side it will be X = -6 /2 so the answer is X = -3

Answer:

1. 2x+6=0

=> 2x = -6

=> x = -6/2

=> x = -3

2. x^2 + x - 6 = 0

=> x^2 +3x-2x-6=0

=> x(x+3) -2(x+3) = 0

=> x = 2 or x = -3
