 \frac{4}{p + q}  -  \frac{5r}{3(p + q)}  \\ lcm \: of \: denominators = 3(p + q) \\ therefore \\  \frac{4(3)}{3(p + q)}  -  \frac{5r}{3(p + q)}  \\  =  \frac{12 - 5r}{3(p + q)}  \\
