Answer:

The value of  4y(2y-3)-5y(6y-3)+2 for y=-1 is -23.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : 4y(2y-3)-5y(6y-3)+2

To find : The value of given expression for y=-1.

Solution :

  • The given expression is,  4y(2y-3)-5y(6y-3)+2
  • We have to find the value of given equation for y=-1.
  • Now, by solving the above equation, we get

     4y(2y-3)-5y(6y-3)+2= 8y^{2} -12y-30y^{2} +15y+2

(∵ Opening the brackets and multiply each term)

                                         = -22y^{2} +3y+2

(∵ By adding or subtracting like terms )

  • Now, put y=-1 in the above equation, we get

                                         = -22(-1)^{2} +3(-1)+2

                                         =  -22-3+2

                                         = -23

  • ∴ The value of  4y(2y-3)-5y(6y-3)+2 for y=-1 is -23.
