The answer is 0.75√11

GIVEN

Mathematical expression;

 \sqrt{5.5 \times 0.5 \times 0.5 \times 4.5}

TO FIND

To simplify the given expression.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

We are given an expression

 \sqrt{5.5 \times 0.5 \times 0.5 \times 4.5}

Now,

We can write 0.5 × 0.5 as 0.5²

 \sqrt{5.5 \times 0.5^{2}  \times 4.5}

Now,

√(0.5)² = 0.5

Therefore,

 0.5\sqrt{5.5  \times 4.5}

We can write

5.5 \times 4.5 =  \frac{55 \times 45}{100}

Therefore,

0.5 \sqrt{ \frac{55 \times 45}{100} }

We know that,

√100 = 10

Therefore,

  =  \frac{0.5}{10}  \sqrt{55 \times 45}

Factorising 55 ans 45

 =  \frac{0.5}{10} \sqrt{5 \times 11 \times 5 \times 3 \times 3}

 =  \frac{0.5 \times 5  \times 3}{10}  \sqrt{11}

 =  \frac{75}{100} \sqrt{11}

= 0.75√11

Hence, The answer is 0.75√11
