Solution:

i. Here, a = 2m and b = 5

(2m – 5)³

= (2m)³ – 3(2m)² (5) + 3(2m) (5)² – (5)³

… [(a – b)³ = a³ – 3a²b + 3ab² – b³]

= 8m³ – 3(4m²)(5) + 3(2m)(25) – 125

= 8m³ – 60m² + 150m – 125
