\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

 \sf \longmapsto {a}^{2}  - 3a + 5 -  \dfrac{1}{2} (3 {a}^{2}  - 5a + 7)

Taking LCM of the Equation:-

Here,2 is the LCM of the Equation then , multiply 2 with a²-3a+5.

 \sf \longmapsto \dfrac{2( {a}^{2}  - 3a + 5) - 1(3 {a}^{2} - 5a + 7) }{2}

 \sf \longmapsto \dfrac{2 {a}^{2}  - 6a + 10 - 3 {a}^{2}  + 5a - 7}{2}

Now ,we take Variable terms together and constant terms together.

 \sf \longmapsto \dfrac{2 {a}^{2}  - 3 {a}^{2} - 6a + 5a + 10 - 7 }{2}

 \sf \longmapsto \dfrac{ -  {a}^{2}  - a + 3}{2}

Taking a common

 \sf \longmapsto \dfrac{a( - a - 1 )+ 3}{2}

 \sf \longmapsto \dfrac{-a( a +1 )+ 3}{2}
