a(a^2+a+1)+5

= a^3+a^2+a+5

(1)

Now if a=0 :-

0^3+0^2+0+5 = 0+0+0+5 = 5

In the first case 5 is the answer

(2)

Now if a= (-1^3)+(-1^2)+(-1)+5 = -1+1-1+5 = 4

In the second case 4 is the answer.

If a=0,then

a(a square+a+1)+5

=0(0+0+1)+5

=0+5

=5

If a=-1,then

a(a square+a+1)+5

=-1(-1+1+1)+5

=1+1+1+5

=8
