Hey friend .!! here's your answer
_________________________

Given==> m= -1

m^2 + 2m -(5m + 4)

Put the value of m in equation,

(-1)^2 + 2(-1) - [5(-1) + 4]

1 -2 + 1
0

so that the answer is 0

Hi ,

Substitute m = - 1 in given expression

m² + 2m - ( 5m + 4 )

= ( -1 )² + 2( - 1 ) - [ 5( - 1 ) + 4 ]

= 1 - 2 - [ -5 + 4 ]

= - 1 - ( - 1 )

= - 1 + 1

= 0

I hope this helps you.
