Step-by-step explanation:

first bracket

2/3+4/3 = 2

1/2 = 0.5

LHS = 0.5+2 = 2.5

Rhs

1/2+2/3 = 0.5+0.67 = 1.17

4/3 = 1.333

adding both

1.17+1.33 = 2.5

LHS = RHS

Given : \sf \dfrac{ 1}{2} + \bigg( \dfrac{2}{3} + \dfrac{4}{3} \bigg) = \bigg( \dfrac{1}{2} + \dfrac{2}{3}\bigg) + \dfrac{4}{3} \\

\Large {\underline{\gray{\frak { Answer \:\:: \:}}}}\\\\

\quad \dashrightarrow \sf \dfrac{ 1}{2} + \bigg( \dfrac{2}{3} + \dfrac{4}{3} \bigg) = \bigg( \dfrac{1}{2} + \dfrac{2}{3}\bigg) + \dfrac{4}{3} \\\\

\quad \dashrightarrow \sf \dfrac{ 1}{2} + \bigg( \dfrac{4 + 2}{3}  \bigg) = \bigg( \dfrac{1}{2} + \dfrac{2}{3}\bigg) + \dfrac{4}{3} \\\\

\quad \dashrightarrow \sf \dfrac{ 1}{2} +  \dfrac{6}{3}   = \bigg( \dfrac{3 + 4 }{6}  \bigg) + \dfrac{4}{3} \\\\

\quad \dashrightarrow \sf \dfrac{ 1}{2} +  \dfrac{6}{3}   =  \dfrac{7 }{6}   + \dfrac{4}{3} \\\\

\quad \dashrightarrow \sf   \dfrac{3 + 12}{6}   =  \dfrac{7 + 8 }{6}  \\\\

\quad \dashrightarrow \sf   \dfrac{15}{6}   =  \dfrac{15 }{6}  \\\\

\quad \dashrightarrow \sf  \cancel{ \dfrac{15}{6}}   = \cancel{ \dfrac{15 }{6} } \\\\

\quad \dashrightarrow \sf   \dfrac{5}{2}   =  \dfrac{5}{2}  \\\\

Hence , The Simplified form is \bf \dfrac{5}{2} \:\: .
