Let theta be @

Cos(180-@) = - cos@

Sin(-@) = - Sin@

Cos(270+@) = sin@

Sin(180+@) = - sin @

[Cos is -ve in 2nd and 3rd Quadrant while sin is -ve in 3rd and 4th quadrant]


So putting them in the equation,

(-cos@)^2/-sin@ + (sin@)^2/-sin@

=-1/sin@ (cos^2@ + sin^2@)

=-1/sin@

=-cosec@


So final answer is -cosec(theta)
