Hey Mate Here Is Your Answer

(a+b)² = a²+2ab+b²

and

(a-b)² = a²+b²-2ab

According to question :--

(a²+2ab+b²)-(a²-2ab+b²)

=a²+2ab+b²-a²+2ab-b²

=4ab

Hence,

=> Value of (a+b)² - (a-b)² is 4ab

(a+b)²-(a-b)²

= a²+b²+2ab-(a²+b²-2ab)

=a²+b²+2ab-a²-b²+2ab

=4ab

Formula:

  • (a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab
  • (a-b)²=a²+b²-2ab
  • a²-b²= (a+b)(a-b)
  • a²+b²=(a+b)²-2ab

hope it helps... :)
