Answer:

x= 2

Step-by-step explanation:

#ANSWER / STEPS:-

[x-1/x] - [2x+1/3x]

first take the LCM , and simply subtract it

LCM= 3x

after taking the LCM , your equation will come out as , 3(x-1)-2x+1/3x

open the brackets , we get:- 3x-3-2x+1/3x

now they are in one unit so simply subtract or add it [as per operation given]

3x-2x-3+1/3x [assemble all like terms together in numerator]

by solving we get ,x-2/3x

since x-2 is whole divided by 3x we can write it as:-

x/3x-2/3x

so x and x will be cancelled in first term  so we will have :- 1/3-2/3x=0

transpose 1/3

we will now have:- -2/3x= -1/3

minus , minus will be cancelled , we will have remaining:-

2/3x= 1/3

since we have fraction on both side , we can cross multiply,

3 X 2= 3x X 1 = 6 = 3x

x= 6/3 = 2

CONCLUSION:- x=2
