Hi there !!

Given,

To divide x² - 4x + 4 ÷ x - 2

It can be seen that in x² - 4x + 4 ,

the 2nd identity that is, (x - y)² = x² - 2xy + y²

So,

cancelling x-2 and x-2 in the numerator and denominator,

we have,

(x - 2)

Thus,

the answer is (x-2)

We can write x2+4x+4 as (X+2)2/X+2
So in numerator and x+2 is common we can cancel and answer is x+2
