To Find  : Value of x

1️⃣ 50⁰

2️⃣ 90⁰

3️⃣ 0⁰

4️⃣ 40⁰

Solution:

Cos x = Sin ( 90 - x)

=> sin 50⁰ = cos.x

=> sin 50⁰ =  Sin ( 90 - x)

Equate both

=> 50° = 90 - x

SOLUTION

TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT OPTION

sin 50° = cos ___

1. 50°

2. 90°

3. 0°

4. 40°

FORMULA TO BE IMPLEMENTED

For any angle θ

 \sf{ \sin( {90}^{ \circ} -  \theta) =  \cos \theta }

EVALUATION

 \sf{ \sin {50}^{ \circ}  }

 \sf{  = \sin ( {90}^{ \circ} -  {40}^{ \circ} ) }

 \sf{  =  \cos  {40}^{ \circ}  }

 \boxed{ \sf{ \sin {50}^{ \circ}  =  \cos  {40}^{ \circ}   }}

FINAL ANSWER

Hence the correct option is 4. 40°
