Solution :

We know that ,

i ) sin 60° = √3/2 ,

ii ) sin 45° = cos 45 = 1/√2 ,

iii ) cos 60° = 1/2

Now ,

LHS = sin60cos45+cos60sin45

= (√3/2 )(1/√2 ) + ( 1/2 )( 1/√2 )

= ( √3 + 1 )/2√2

= [ √2(√3+1)]/[2√2×√2]

=[ √2(√3+1) ]/4

= RHS
