square on both sides,

(sinA + cosecA)^2 =2^2

sinA^2A + cosec^2A + 2(sinA*cosecA)=4


{as sinA =1/cosecA}

then 

sin^2 A + cosec^2 A +2=4

sin^2A + cosec^2=4-2 =2
