We know that,

sin30 = 1/2

cos30 =   √3/2

sin60 =  √3/2

cos60 = 1/2

So, put these values in the given question :-

(sin30 + cos30) - (sin60 + cos60)

(1/2 +  √3/2) - ( √3/2 + 1/2)

(1+ √3)/2  -  (1+ √3)/2

(1 +  √3 - 1 -  √3)/2
