LHS = sin A÷(1+ cos A) { Multiply sin A & (1+ cos A) by (1 - cos A) •°• it becomes = [sin A (1 - cos A)] ÷ [(1 + cos A)(1 - cos A)] = [sin A (1 - cos A)] ÷ [ 1 - cos^2 A] = [sin A (1 - cos A)] ÷ [sin^2 A] {sin A is cut above and below} = (1 - cos A) ÷ sin A = RHS ☺
