Since it's independence in 1930 Mexico holds elections after every 6years to elect its President. The country never win under a military rule or ditators rule still it is not a democratic country

Because it is limited to its functioning and also diverse group of people having different ethnicity lives there.

The major problem is corruption as same party is ruling since 1930. Just candidates are changing and mentality remains same of sacking people of wealth and filling their pockets first.

They also have institutional flaws in elections as the votes are counted by citizens and politicians can bribe them according to their will.
