Sir Issac Newton, the great English scientist, studied the laws of nature and the effect of gravity. He also showed us that sunlight can be split into the seven colours of the rainbow. Everyone was amazed that one man could discover so many things.
One day a lady came up and said, 'You are truly amazing! You have explained so many things in our world and even the entire universe.' Newton replied, 'Alas! I am only a little child picking up pebbles on the shore of the great ocean of truth!' Do we mock Newton because he was humble enough to compare himself to a little child. Of course not. He was a genius and he discovered many things. But he also knew that much more was still waiting to be discovered. He understood the value of humility.
