To find : How many times does the bells toll together.

Given :

Six bells commence tolling together and tolls at interval of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 minutes respectively.

By taking L.C.M for the given numbers : 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12

We get : 120

So, the bell will toll together after 120 minutes = 2 hours.

At the starting, 1 bell tolls

In 30 hours, they toll together = \frac{30}{2} = 15 bell tolls

Therefore, the total number of bells tolls together = 15 + 1 = 16 times.
