Given :- six equal pieces are made out of a rope of length 21⅚ m . Find the length of each piece. Also find the length of 10 such pieces.

Solution :-

Let us assume that, length of each equal piece is x m.

Then,

→ Length of 6 pieces = 6 * x = 6x m

Therefore,

→ Total length of rope = 6x m.

→ 6x = 21(5/6)

→ 6x = (131/6)

→ x = (131/6 * 6)

→ x = (131/36)

→ x ≈ 3.64 m. (Ans.)

Also,

→ Length of 10 such pieces will be = 10 * 3.64 = 36.4 m.(Ans.)
