Six solid cubical stools with edge 65 are to be painted red on all the sides . Find the quantity of paint required to paint 6 cubical stools if one can of paint is required to paint 11700 square cm of area.

total surface area = 6(a^2)

= 6 ×65×65= 25,350 cm ^2

Area of 1 cubical stool = 25,350 cm^2

Area of 6 cubical stool = 6×25,350 = 152,100 cm ^2

11700 square cm reqire paint = 1 can

152 ,100 square cm required paint = 1 ×152,100 ÷ 11700

= 13 cans
