Voluntary muscles are those when we have direct control over them.so skeletal muscles are sometimes called voluntary muscle because we have direct control over them with the help of nervous impulses that sends messages from the brain to the muscle.
Voluntary muscles are those muscles which are controlled by the will of an individual i.e. controlled by the individual's brain. The person can take decision on the movement of the muscle. Hence the movement of the skeletal muscle is decided by our own will hence being a voluntary muscle.
Skeletal muscles are also called voluntary muscles because they are attached to the bones by tendons and produce all types of body movement. -They are striated, long, and thin generally crossed with the regular pattern of red and white lines giving a unique appearance to the skeletal muscles.
