DNA or deoxyribonucleic acid is a double stranded helical structure made up of nucleotide. DNA contain all the genetic information. Unlike RNA, there is only one type of DNA, however it has further divided into 3 forms:

- B- form

- A- form

- Z-form

RNA stands for ribonucleic acid, is a single stranded structure, has 3 types:

- Messenger RNA (mRNA)

- Transfer RNA (tRNA)

- Ribosomal RNA (rRNA)
