Miss Sullivan was Helen's teacher , light of her life . She had herself blind for a time. But it was a matter of luck that she had recovered her eyesight . However the experience of blindness had made her sympathetic towards the blind children . when she came to know about Helen, she decided to teach Helen . She worked very hard for it . As a teacher miss Sullivan was quite patient and innovative . She was equal to the task the had been given to him. She knew that blind children needed special education and care . She was like a lamp in Helen's life which enlightened her life with happiness. Like an ideal teacher , she made her teaching so interested that Helen became a willing partner in the process of learning . Infact it was her teacher's genius , her quick sympathy ,her loving tact which made the first five years of my education so beautiful. Miss Sullivan was no less than an angel who illuminated the dark world of Helen with the Divine lamp of her dedication
