x_1=0\\x_2=-2\\y_1=-0.5\\y_2=1

Slope=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

        =\frac{1+0.5}{-2-0}

       =\frac{1.5}{-2}

       =-0.75

Alternate method:

We are given that  3x+4y+2=0.

y=\frac{-3x-2}{4}

y=\frac{-3}{4} x-\frac{1}{2}

y=mx+c

m=-\frac{3}{4} =-0.75
