Solution:

 \tt \large{ \frac{x}{5} + 11 =  \frac{1}{5} } \\

 \sf \leadsto{3x + 165 = 1}

\sf \leadsto{3x = 1 - 165}

\sf \leadsto{3x =  - 164}

\sf \leadsto{x =  - \frac{164}{3} } \\

Verification

Putting x = -164/3 in the LHS

 \tt{ \frac{ - \frac{164}{3} }{5} + 11} \\

 \tt{ = \frac{ - 164}{3 \times 5} + 11} \\

 \tt{ = - \frac{164}{15} + 11} \\

 \sf{ =  \frac{1}{15}} \\

RHS = 1/15

1/15 = 1/15

LHS = RHS

Hence, verified!
