Answer:

Joule’s Law of Heating

The heat that is generated because of the current flow in an electric wire is described in Joules. The mathematical expression of Joule’s law is as explained below.

Joule’s first law

The joule’s first law shows the relationship between heat produced by a flowing electric current through a conductor.

Q = I2 R T

Where,

Q indicates the amount of heat

I show electric current

R is the amount of electric resistance in the conductor

T denotes time

B)We know that,

Heat = V^2 × t / R

200J = V^2 × 1sec. / 10 ohm

V^2 = 200J × 4ohm / 1sec.

V^2 = 800

V = ✓800

V = 20√2V

Answer:

(a.) According to Joules law of heating heat produced in a resistor:-

1. Directly proportional to square of current

2. Directly proportional to resistance

3. Directly proportional to time

So, the the mathematical form of this law or will be.

H=V×I×T OR H=VIT (eventually)

Or

H=V²/R×T

OR

H= I²RT

(b.) H= 200J

t = 1sec

R=8Ω

V=??

H=VIT

H=V²/R×t. ( I=V/R)

200 = V²/8×1

V²= 200×8

V²= 1600

V= √1600

V=40 V
