Small but interesting experiments that can be shown based on Magnetism.

If you had some metal-filings for example, you make the following experiment: 

Put the filings on the table and spread them as wide as you can (make sure that your magnet is strong enough to get throught the table). Then take the magnet, place it below the table but near to it, so the field could easily reach the filings. Then watch as they move by themsleves along with you moving the magnet ;) 

There was also another version of the above with some kind of liquid I think, you might want to look for more around the net ;) 

Anthonyarcher: Akshata, I am in Class VIII and I think showing this experiment would be rather funny for me.......
