✯DISASTER : A disaster is an event that result in widespread loss of human life and property in a defined area.

►ɪɴᴅɪᴀ is one of the most disaster prone countries of the world. 65% of the land area is vulnerable to earthquake,12% to floods and 8% of the land is vulnerable to cyclones.

✯TYPES OF DISASTER :

➊. Disasters may be caused by natural elements and are called ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟ ᴅɪsᴀsᴛᴇʀs.
example= earthquakes, cyclone, hurricanes, flood etc.

➋. Disaster which are caused by accidents or by intention and are associated with human activity are called ᴍᴀɴ ᴍᴀᴅᴇ ᴅɪsᴀsᴛᴇʀs.
example= Road, rail accidents, fire, bomb blast, epidemics etc.

➌. Disaster which are caused both by man and nature are called sᴏᴄɪᴀʟ-ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟ ʜᴀᴢᴀʀᴅs.
example= landslides, drought, fires, floods etc
