hi dear here is ur answer

Identify a male grasshopper by a rounded abdomen. Looking at the grasshopper's abdomen is the most definitive way to determine its sex. A rounded, upturned abdomen indicates the grasshopper is a male. Note that a female grasshopper has a tapered abdomen.

Answer:

Hlo mate

Male grasshoppers carry a single sex chromosome (an X chromosome) and are considered XO. The O signifies the lack of a second X chromosome. Male grasshoppers are considered the heterogametic sex because they produce two different types of sperm cells: with or without an X chromosome. Female grasshoppers, however, are XX and carry two X chromosomes. They are considered the homogametic sex because all their egg cells contain an X chromosome. As you might have guessed, the male gamete always determines the sex of the offspring — maleness is determined by sperm cells that lack an X chromosome.
