"snake " by lawerence is a dig at the human folly that has caused an imbalance in environment....coz his education tells him to kill the snake as it was venomous and a deadly threat............he once reacts listening to his voice of education and throws a stick at the creature.......though he wanted to make an apology but  this is really an act of rudeness and threat.
