SNCC believed that nonviolence was a tactic, not a way of life. What does this mean? that nonviolence is merely a strategy for change, not an ethos for living that nonviolence does not work that nonviolence only shows weakness that nonviolence does not work in the real world

The SNCC was otherwise called the "Understudy Non-Violent Coordinating Committee" which was a social liberties amass framed to give more youthful blacks all the more a voice in the social equality development after world war 2.


In 1966, Stokely Carmichael assumed a critical job in this board of trustees when he was chosen as the head of SNCC and promoted the expression "dark power" to portray the new strategies and objectives.
