Sneha want to print some brochures for her business if she goes for one style it will cost rupees 113.50 rupees 0.2 per brochures if she goes for the others time it will cost of rupees 5 plus rupees 0.55 per brochure for how many brochures will the price for both style be the same??​

Cost of printing the brochure for second style= Rs. 5 and Rs. 0.55 per brochure.

To find:

For how many brochures will the price for both style be the same?

Solution:

Let the number of brochures be x for which the price for both style be the same.

Then cost of printing the brochure for first style= Rs. 113.5 + 0.2x

Cost of printing the brochure for second style= Rs. 5 + 0.55x

For the price to be equal:

113.5 + 0.2x= 5+ 0.55x

0.55x - 0.2x = 113.5- 5

0.35x = 108.5

x = 108.5/ 0.35

x= 310

Therefore sneha should print 310 brochures so that the price remains same.
