so2 is an acidic oxide but Na2 is basic oxide why?

Hey!!!

This is because SO2 is a non metallic oxide and they are acidic whereas we know Na2 is a metal hence basic oxide

Na2O reacts with water to form NaOH which is a strong base which makes it a basic oxide.Cl2O7reacts with water to form HClO​4which is one among the strongest acids. So it is an acidic oxide.
