Social Media has made us less social
Social Media has indeed created connections in the world.
It has led to formation of new groups which help each other to study. But, on the other side of the coin, people are not contacting with real people. In a survey , 32% of people surveyed, reported texting during meals, so people are actually getting away from real people. There is no face to face interaction between people and they are socially getting away from each other. So , social media has made us less social.
