Sodium bicarbonate exbhits properties of an acid in a soln.but sodium carbonate does not​

This is because sodium bicarbonate[NaHCO3] has a replaceable H atom which will ionise in water to give H+ ions and thus, show acidic properties.
On the other hand sodium carbonate [NaCO3] does not have an H atom that can dissociate.
