Sodium Chloride contains 2 elements, but it is still a pure substance. Justify.

Pure elements are easy examples, because you cannot divide an atom further without great effort. Table saltis composed of sodium and chlorine, NaCl. It's a compound of two distinct elements that cannot be broken down further without changing the properties of the substance.

sodium chloride contains two elements, but it is still a pure substance. please assign reasons. sodium chloride is a compound because it decomposes into simpler substance, where as sodium and chlorine cannot be further decomposed into any substance they are Elements....
