For any thing to conduct electricity it requires charge that maybe ions or electrons. In liquid state the ions are free to flow. whereas in solid State they are stuctted with each other. So NaCl conduct electricity in molten state

Answer:

being an ionic compound NaCl don't conduct electricity but does in aqueous solution because it dissociates into ions and ions do conduct electricity
