because these are high reactive elements.
If the keep in free the react with air and caught fire. So the are stored in kerosene

Sodium Potassium and lithium are categorised under alkali metals which are very high reactive because of their electron donation capacity..... so if they are not stored in kerosene they will react with oxygen present in atmosphere and Burn with high rate of explosion.........
