When Zn reacts with NaOH it gives Na2ZnO2

When Zn reacts with NaOH + H20 it gives H4Na2O4Zn

Notice:

in Na2ZnO2 & H4Na2O4Zn the only diff is that that are 2 extra molecules of water in H4Na2O4Zn

Na2ZnO2       H4Na2O4Zn

1 Na                 1 Na

1 Zn                 1 Zn

2 O                 4 O

0 H                 4 H

So, H4Na2O4Zn has excess of 4 H and 2 O which is equal to 2 H2O.

Hope it helps.....
