Let the number of 5 rs. coins be x

2 rs. coin = 3x

Total money = 77rs.

5(x) + 2(3x) =77

5x + 6x =77

11x=77

x=77/11

x=7

Thus he have 7 coins of 5 rs. and (3×7=) 21 coins of 2 rs.
