Sohan's grandfather has a rectangular plot which is 10 m long and 6 m wide.
He wants to put a fence around the field to protect it from animals. What is the
length of the wire needed if grandfather wants to fence the field twice? Also
calculate the area of field.​

Answer:

We have sides of rectangular plot of land is 240m and200m.

Length of fence = Perimeter of the rectangular plot

That is, Perimeter of the rectangular plot =2(l+b)

Perimeter of the rectangular plot =2(240+200)

Perimeter of the rectangular plot= 2×440

i.e  Perimeter of the rectangular plot = 880m

Now we have, cost of fencing 1 meter =30Rs

cost of fencing 880 meter =30×880=26400Rs

Thus fencing cost of entire field will be26400Rs.
