Soil erosion is an issue of concern for the following reasons: Soil erosion results in the loss of soil fertility and makes the land barren. It also leads to desertification. When the topsoil is eroded from an area, that area loses its most nutrient-rich layer, and therefore soil quality is reduced.
Mention That Top Soil Is The Most Soft Layer That Get Eroded Easily.
Hope This Will Help Uhhh

Soil is constantly formed by weathering of rocks but we are too concerned about soil erosion because soil erosion means depletion of top soil and if top soil depletes then there is difficult for ants to grow and all the organisms are directly or indirectly dependent on plants.
Hope it helps.
